Consignment

What We Take:

• February - April: Spring medium- weight clothing--shorts, short-sleeved spring dresses
  
• April - June: Summer weight clothing--tanks, swimwear, sundresses, shorts, sandals
  
• July - September: Fall/Back to School--medium weight fall, long sleeves, cords, lightweight jackets and rainwear
  
• September - October: Halloween costumes
  
• October - January: Winter weight heavy coats, Christmas seasonal items, sweaters, snow wear (bibs, pants, parkas, ski gloves, hats)

What We Don't Take:

• Infant or toddler carseats unless they are brand-new in the box or made by Peg Perego or Britax and less than 5 years old
• Cribs more than 10 years old
• Stroller systems before the year 2002
• Diaper pails or Diaper Genies
• Bath tubs
• Infant / childrens clothing items over 5 years old
• Maternity clothing over 3 years old (styles change quickly)

• Two (2) paper shopping bags of clean, current season merchandise accepted between the 1st and the 21st of each month. Limit one (1) drop-off per month. Equipment and large items can come in any time Garbage bags or oversized plastic bags will not be accepted.

• Drop and run policy: We will not sort while you wait. All items are accepted and priced by Baby and Me.

• Consignor is paid 40% on all merchandise excluding furniture, which is paid at 50% of sale price. All furniture must meet federal and state safety regulations. Consignors can take one (1) check per month any time between the 1st and the 21st of each month at the store they dropped off in. You may use your account money for in store purchases any time during the month and at any of our locations.

  

• The consignment period is ninety (90) days. If you wish to pull your unsold items, they must be pulled by the date on your consignor card. Baby and Me employees are not allowed to pull or assist in pulling of expired items. All items not pulled will become the sole property of Baby and Me to donate or use at their discretion. Donation receipts will be given only for items accepted and not sold. All money on your account must be used or picked up within one year of original consignment or it will convert to store credit only.

• Property is consigned for sale at consignor's risk. Baby and Me shall not be held responsible for loss, theft, or damage. Consignor shall receive an itemized donation receipt for any item they cannot locate.

• A $2.00 annual consignor fee will be charged to each consignor. This fee is waived if amount on account is used as store credit and no checks are written.

• Self addressing your postcard constitutes your understanding and agreement to these policies.
